The cosmetic product in the form of a massage cooling gel developed and manufactured under pharmaceutical supervision. It contains a unique combination of natural ingredients betaescin, betaglucan and panthenol with a beneficial effect on the quality of the venous and lymphatic system. The main component of the gel is a lyophilized extract of horse chestnut seeds, standardised on beta escin. This technological treatment ensures a very high bioavailability.
Betaescin (β-aescin) is a natural saponin derived from horse chestnut seed and has a number of proven pharmacological effects. It supports better blood circulation in the veins and vascular capillaries. It has venotonic (increasing vein tension) and vasoprotective (vascular protection) effects. Betaglucan (ß-glucan) is a natural polysaccharide that supports the body's defenses, and is known as an activator of important skin cells. Panthenol is the body's own form of vitamin B5, has anti-inflammatory, regenerative and calming effects, supports the production of collagen and elastin fibres. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and strengthens the natural repair processes during minor damage, skin irritation and mild burns. The mild alkaline reaction of panthenol increases the bioavailability of the active ingredients of the chestnut extract.
